CIRI has four scholarship funding levels: (a) Semester Scholarships (b) Special Excellence Annual Scholarships (c) Excellence Annual Scholarships and (d) Achievement Annual Scholarships. CITC has both Tribal Higher Education funds and Tribal Training funds. The Tribal Higher Education Scholarship program is available for eligible Native CIRI shareholders and direct lineal descendants of Original Enrollees. It provides assistance for students pursuing higher education from an accredited college, university or training facility. The Tribal Training funds are available for students attending an adult vocational training program. Alaska Natives, American Indians and Native Hawaiians residing in the Cook Inlet Service area are eligible. CIRI also has the Alyeska Match Scholarship which includes funds for specific majors identified by Alyeska.
