Alaska EPSCoR
Alaska EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) is a university-state partnership that promotes research capacity in Alaska. The purpose of Alaska EPSCoR is to address national and local scientific priorities and to support the training of students for a 21st century technologically-based workforce.
Increasing research capacity within Alaska and making the results relevant and accessible to the Alaska public are two main goals of Alaska EPSCoR. They achieve this through a variety of programs including student fellowships available to both undergraduates and graduates, and travel funding for graduate students to attend conferences and participate in knowledge exchange.
