IHI Open School for Health Professions
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School for Health Professions brings students together from multiple professions to improve the quality and safety of care provided to patients. The IHI Open School is currently free and its goal is to advance quality improvement and patient safety competencies in the next generation of health professionals worldwide, an important goal not currently fulfilled by curriculum at most health professions schools. The University of Alaska Anchorage currently has a student chapter.
