RAISE-Graduate Session
Southcentral Foundation’s RAISE Program provides opportunities for real-life work experience in the context of Native cultural values. It is designed to develop leadership skills in Alaska Natives/American Indians, 17-19 years of age. The program exposes participants to health-related careers and workplace expectations, while supporting their personal and professional development. RAISE offers a graduate session for participants who have achieved a high school diploma or GED. The year-long graduate session offers placement in a variety of Southcentral Foundation worksites, while participants are enrolled in a minimum of 9 college credits. Students are encouraged to seek a college degree or entry-level employment at Southcentral Foundation at the end of the session. The yearlong program runs from August through July.
